Natalie Wasserman
AmeriCorps Program Officer
Natalie Wasserman is currently serving as the AmeriCorps Program Officer at Serve DC. In this capacity, Natalie manages the programmatic and financial aspects of the eight AmeriCorps*State grants. Additionally, Natalie oversees the Disability Inclusion Initiative which strives to integrate persons with disabilities in National Service and all aspects of the Serve DC office’s portfolio. Prior to joining Serve DC, Natalie served as a corps member in Class 13 at the Southeast Region campus of AmeriCorps *NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps). During her *NCCC year, she completed community service projects in South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana and Kentucky with organizations such as The Salvation Army, The Boys and Girls Club of America, Habitat for Humanity and the Palmetto Trail Conservation Foundation. Natalie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in Spanish from the University of California at Berkeley. When Natalie is away from work, she likes to be outside as much as possible and actively cheers for the San Francisco Giants and the California Golden Bears. She hails from Fairfax, CA, and currently resides in Ward 1. |
