Regina "Jeannie" Moran
Citizen Corps Director

Regina “Jeannie” Moran is currently the Director of the DC Citizen Corps. Jeannie began her tenure at Serve DC as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service AmeriCorps *VISTA, increasing the volunteer network for the volunteer. program five-fold. After her year of service, Jeannie was brought on to Serve DC as the Coordinator of Special Initiatives. The inaugural year of the Commander Program in DC Public Elementary Schools highlighted her time in that position.

Jeannie hails from Pittsburgh and moved to Washington, DC to attend American University. After receiving her BS degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies, Jeannie answered a call to service choosing to volunteer for a year through AmeriCorps. Dedicated and inspired by national service, Jeannie hopes to foster a sentiment of stewardship and civic solidarity in the Citizen Corps Program. During her off time, Jeannie likes promoting environmental causes, practicing sign language, and traveling.
