Lawanda Pelzer 

 

Lawanda serves as the Office Manager for the Serve DC office. As a new employee to the Executive Office of the Mayor, she brings experience as a former employee of Pathways to Housing, SAIC and Peer Consultants, where she assisted with finding housing for the homeless and numerous other activities. She has also worked as a contractor for the DC Water & Sewer Authority.

 

Lawanda attended Parks College in Arlington, VA, and majored in criminal justice. Her hobbies are word searches, road trips and bike riding with her son. She is an avid volunteer with DC Habitat for Humanities. Lawanda was born and raised in the District of Columbia and currently lives in Ward 7.
