Shirley Hall

CERT Program Officer 

Shirley Hall serves as the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program Officer. She was introduced to Serve DC working as a full-time volunteer during coordination of our Hurricane Katrina efforts assisting the volunteer and donations efforts. Prior to joining Serve DC she worked as a professional fundraiser for the Republican National Committee. She has effectively managed offices for the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as well as the Bureau of Prisons (Department of Justice). Shirley honed her customer service skills as a longtime buyer for Hecht's Department Stores. She attended South Carolina State College majoring in business administration and accounting. Currently she works with her church's community outreach ministry and tutors primary and elementary students in the District of Columbia.
