Kristen Henry
   Kristen Henry
Director of National Service

Kristen serves as the Director of National Service for Serve DC – The Mayor’s Office on Volunteerism where she manages Serve DC’s National Service team and portfolio of programs to include AmeriCorps*State, Learn and Serve, Program Development and Training, Disability Inclusion, and the Serve DC AmeriCorps*VISTA program. Prior to her role at Serve DC, she worked as a Project Associate with the National Youth Employment Coalition in Washington, DC where she focused on education initiatives for out-of-school youth. She also served as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year Philadelphia and Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver.

Kristen received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She is from New Jersey and currently resides in Ward 1.
