Tim Fitzsimmons has worked with the District of Columbia Government for almost seven years. Before joining the Serve DC team, Tim was in the Office of the City Administrator, the Office of Policy and Legislative Affairs, and the Office of the Chief Financial Officer at the DC Public Schools. Tim's professional background is rooted in a commitment to public service. He has previously worked in the Mayor's Office for the City of Pittsburgh and has had internships in numerous nonprofit organizations and government offices, including the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, the Pennsylvania Economy League and the Local Government Academy of Southwest Pennsylvania.

 

Tim is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he received a master's of public administration. He is also a graduate of Shippensburg University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in government. A native of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Tim now resides in Ward 2.
